| Our client is an independent, well-established chemical, marketing company in the South East. They represent major European chemical manufacturers and supply multinational, generic and other pharmaceutical manufacturers. Their growth strategy focuses on a consistently increasing market share through the promotion of an innovative product range. |
Responsibilities:
· Sales & marketing strategy to promote the pharmaceutical product range of active ingredients, intermediates and excipients as well as raw materials for the cosmetics industry
· Hands on customer contacts
· Maintaining close working relationship with principal suppliers and customers such as GSK and Boots
· Technical advice to support the sales function
· Sales Budget and reporting
· Management of other members of the pharmaceutical team
· Visionary input into the further development of the division

Candidate:
· Chemistry Degree or similar
· Some commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry
· Strong interacting and teamworking skills
· Result driven with an entrepreneurial flair
· Lateral thinker
