The Napp Pharmaceutical Group (Napp) is part of a worldwide organisation of pharmaceutical companies, which have ex-company sales in the region of $1.5 billion. Sales of products by agents and licensees, which earn royalties, account for a further $400 million. Napp is now looking to recruit an experienced pharmaceutical sales person.

Napp Pharmaceuticals: Experienced, motivated and successful medical sales person required for 6 month maternity cover and to cover Secondary care and associated influencers across Motherwell, Hamilton, Airdrie, Carluke, Lanark.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following qualities:
- Has impact and presence, but is not overbearing. - Shows real empathy and understanding of situations and opinions. - Is sincere, persuasive and memorable. - Shows genuine interest in the views of others, and works cohesively within a team. - Candidates must have a positive, results focussed attitude towards life. - They should have a ‘continuous improvement’ mentality, and be able to demonstrate good personal development.
- Candidates must be highly self-motivated, and be able to demonstrate how they have overcome significant challenges.

Training
The training programme is modular, and progress is at a level relevant to each candidate. Initial basic training is usually completed within 3-4 months, but should be completed within 6 months. Further training over the following 6 months builds on the initial training. |
Candidates must have pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably within both primary and secondary care. They should be able to demonstrate significant achievement within their work and/or personal life.

Preferably to degree level or equivalent. RGN is fine, or ‘A’ level Biology. ABPI if appropriate.
